Invitation of papers for a special issue 2022
Finnish Journal of Music Education (FJME) is inviting papers for a special issue on a topic: “Care and Compassion in Music Education”. The topic is based on this year’s NNRME 2022 -conference theme. The topic can be approached from the perspective of various disciplines and research questions – we hope the special issue to reflect the multiplicity of approaches and viewpoints.
At the first stage, we invite abstracts (max 300 words) as paper proposals by the end of February (28.2.2022). The abstracts can be sent directly to me firstname.lastname@example.org. Papers of the special issue will be selected based on the abstracts and the authors will be informed about the decision by March 10th. Deadline for the full articles is in May, 20.5.2022. We expect the special issue authors also to serve as peer-reviewers to each other’s papers during May-June 2022.
Language of the papers can be Finnish, Swedish, or English. The general instructions of the journal for preparing the articles can be found at the FJME website.
