Raspberry Pi is a single board computer running Linux operating system. It's versatile small computer that is able to do many things.
Among many things, Raspberry Pi with omxPlayer application can be turned into standalone video player. It's affordable and reliable device that can be used for video installation. You can use it for both single-channel or synchrionized multi-channel video installation.
In the Art and technology studies we have used it extensively but also developed some easy-to-use instructions and installation scripts to make it super easy to set up and get running.
