The Cultural Diversity in Music Education (CDIME) conference (March 29th - April 1st, 2017 in Kathmandu, Nepal) will examine various theoretical and practical aspects relevant to the area of cultural diversity in music education. Contributions are sought from: scholars, researchers and postgraduate students from music education and related disciplines; musicians, music teachers, policymakers and other relevant practitioners; and those working for local, national or transnational music-related agencies with the aim of promoting cultural diversity.
