null Three Global Visions professors invited as keynote speakers to Cambridge conference

During the BIBAC (Building Interdisciplinary Bridges Across Cultures) conference, hosted by the University of Cambridge from July 30 to August 1 2016, no less than three of the professors connected to the Global Visions project were invited as keynote speakers. Professor Heidi Westerlund, who is one of the project PIs, talked about intercultural music teacher education through experiences in Finland, Israel, Cambodia and Nepal, Professors Liora Bresler and Eva Saether, both members of the project’s Advisory Board, lectured on intercultural travels and social sustainability and education reform respectively.

All keynotes were well received by a large audience, and the Global Visions project has now been disseminated widely to scholars working with matters of interculturality across the arts.
