null Vesper – A song for the persecuted

Sun 26 Jan at 18.00

This vesper, or evening service, features Gregorian chants associated with the festival of St Paul celebrated on 26 January in the Middle Ages, highlighting the conversion of a persecutor to a defender of the persecuted.

The songs, dances, instrumental pieces and poetry in this service have Medieval roots; some of the songs are from Finnish sources. The dances are based on Medieval processions.
