Our symposium venue is the Helsinki Music Centre, Mannerheimintie 13 a / Töölönlahdenkatu 16 C.

An info desk will be open during symposium hours for registration matters, symposium materials and information.

More info on the spaces booked for the symposium at the Music Centre for our streams will be available here soon.

A map of downtown Helsinki featuring some useful sites for attendees will also be linked closer to the event.

Accommodation

The organizers have negotiated discounts and secured a limited number of reduced-rate hotel rooms. We hope this will make it somewhat easier to plan your trip. You may book the rooms using specific discount codes and links (kindly contact the conference organizers at networks2020@uniarts.fi for more information).

The budget options are Omena Hotels Yrjönkatu & Lönnrotinkatu (ca. 100€ for a single room, -10 % discount for conference attendees). This offer will be closing on May 15th.

The mid-price options are Scandic Hakaniemi (179€ for a single room / 199€ for a double room) / Scandic Paasi (199€ for a single room / 219€ for a double room). These hotels also offer discounts for superior rooms (199€ for a single room / 219€ for a double room at Scandic Hakaniemi, 219€ for a single room / 239€ for a double room at Scandic Paasi). This offer will be closing on May 20th.

The high-grade option (219€ for a single room / 239€ for a double room) is Crowne Plaza. This offer will be closing on May 20th.

The venue is at the heart of Helsinki, and there are lots of accommodation possibilities available. However, the first weeks of June are a somewhat busy time in Helsinki hotels, so an early booking may be well-advised. We encourage also browsing the Helsinki accommodation options via e.g. booking.com.
